|Mallia420||Yea im doing it after work one night from 5 to 8 durring our night hours so i didnt wanna rip intoit and not be able to get it done and have people pissed my jeep is disabling their lift wanted to see how much i could do by myself untill i get a 2nd set of hands|

It will hurt your ego if someone sees you in a stock Jeep with a transfercase drop... that and possibly bottoming out the slip yokes like Rusty said.
Is there a problem with doing it at the same time as the lift?

|Rusty Knutt||Just make sure your shafts don't bottom out the slip yokes. That could be ugly.|

Anyone think doing the tcase drop before the lift will hurt anything
