SoCalRailFan Well I think I got a bit to worry about it, until at least I need new tires. I'll talk to the guy who got me my jeep, he's one of the head guys at the dealership and I'm sure he'll take care of me. Thanks for the info.

IU98 As stated above it does depend on the dealership, my warranty was voided except for my air conditiong and my power locks shows how much they know about TJ's. And I did the work myself. Remember they will charge you labor big $$'s. Good luck

jeeperman It always comes down to the dealer... Like khenderson said, you should talk to the service manager about what you want to do. Sometimes they are really excited, and want you to bring it by so they can take a look, and sometimes they won't do oil changes on it after you lift it... Take coffee and doughnuts down to the service manager and have a talk with him!

khenderson you'll find alot of times that the dealer really determines warranty work. sometimes you'll get a dealer that doesn't have a problem with mods and will still do warranty work(as long as the mods didn't cause the problem, then they won't fix it). or you might run into the dealer that won't fix an alternator problem because you voided the warranty by putting a 2'' BB on. WTF?! so i'd check with your local dealer first and get what they say in writing so you have it later. be nice, courteous, and respectful and you'll get alot further with them in the long run.

Suspension lift, factory warranty?

I'm curious about the factory warranty on my Jeep if I want to put say a 2-3" suspension lift on it? Does the dealer have to put any lift on to maintain the warranty. I'm not sure what to ask or say, but I'm sure you get the gist of my question.
