MikeMTJ In my opinion, Rough Country is garbage. I have an RC lift, and it's poor quality. I wheel with people who replaced their RC lifts, for the same reason. The springs sag, the shocks are either to long or way to rough. I say this over and over again because it bit me in the ass, just buy a quality lift the first time around.

00saharatj I've got the Zone 3" on my 2000 TJ and have no complaints about it. I went ahead and threw in a BDS adjustable front track bar with mine which is something you might consider.

InvertChaos I just got my RC combo installed and love it so far. I got a new steering stabilizer, quick disconnects, and track bar drop bracket as well. It rides better than stock. I didn't have to use the tcase drop either. The only gripe I have so far is I can't use 4lo right now because a bolt head is in the way of the bracket. Should be an easy fix but annoying none the less. I also need bump stop extensions before I go offroading.

Whobeme I have a Zone 4" kit in my 06 TJ Unlimited for a year now with no complaints and it has been wheeled hard. The ride is very comparable to the stock ride with less body roll. It's not as mushy in the turns. Off road it flexes really well. Thought I'd share.

minderbinder3 How does the RC ride compared to stock? Did you also get bump stops and the rear track bar bracket or only what they shipped?

04-Rubi I went with RC, and have no experience with zone, so don't count them out yet, but I am 100% satisfied with my RC lift. You can see some before/after pics on my profile.

GoldenSahara00 I came down to this same decision, but I decided to save up for the zone (its not that much more than the combo, once you buy the stuff rc leaves out-rear track) and you get a better quality bigger lift. Then do a BL later. thats my plan.

Garner i have been looking at the zone myself i hear good stuff about them sister company to bds and we all know how good they are

3" Zone suspension or RC 3.75" combo lift

I am open to anybody's opinion on which lift kit is better. The Zone is 3" coils an springs and the RC is 2.5" coils and springs with 1.25" body. Zone seems to be a little more $$ but comes with extended sway bars and rear adapter. I am not too opposed to the body lift part of the RC kit because I have to remove the 3" body lift disaster from my LJ anyway.
