Former YJ owner now a JK owner from San Antonio

I have a 2008 4 door JK that I purchased last weekend. It has a hardtop, 2.5" Teraflex lift and runs on 265/70-17's. I traded in my Cummins powered 2006 Dodge 2500 4 door for it. I had a YJ that I bought new in 92' and have wanted another jeep since the day I sold it. Work changed a bit so I didn't need the big truck anymore. Jeep opportunity arose

Just purchased a B&M trans cooler, Ridge runner tow hitch with wiring harness and a pair of Daystar hood latch straps(the hood "fluttering" drove me nuts the first day). This will all go on next weekend. Also will install my C/B, radar detector and route my GPS wiring in the dash.

I have surfed around the forum and am amazed at the ingenuity that exists here. I am a welder/fabricator by trade and hobby and look forward to many Jeep projects.

I will keep you posted as I progress.

1st big project will be an off road capable trailer. I need it to carry my tools around during the week and my "fun" gear around on the weekend. Working on the design right now.
