kik The Flame Red paint on my 10 Rubi is great. One of the best paint jobs on all of the cars that I've had including a few different Corvettes and especially a Carbon Black BMW M3 which was the worst paint job I think I had on a vehicle. After getting tired of looking at it for six years I got rid of it. The paint is even better than on my Nisson Xterra. What are you comparing it to. I don't see a paint welding spot only painted body seams. I think for the price I'm real satisfied with the quality of paint. In fact, it's just as good as a friend's Mercedes. I don't think you can get better than that with a JK.

KSCRUDE I see I need to look for a paint wielding spot also. Don't really know what that is, bUt I might if I see one! Maybe the op got a cheap paint job as he was to cheap to order the painted top and fenders. LOL

KSCRUDE The only paint on either of my bumpers is on the silver part in the middle. I don't think the black plastic is painted? I have about 40 miles on mine and I guess i will have to look at the right rear side of the back in-between somewhere bumper and look for paint buildup somewhere! Omg I need a beer or a drink or both!

strange paint job

I have been called a perfectionist when it comes to my jeep.

I noticed that these new jeeps paint job is not the greatest.

On the rear bumper on the right side many of these jeep wranglers have excess welding/paint built up. I first noticed on my and i thought it was a defect in the painting. I went back to the dealership and looked at over 15 jeep wranglers in the lot. They all had similar paint welding spot in the same area.

Strange its only on the right bumper in between the bumper.

I have been told that no one would even recognize this except me. Oh well they must paint these jeep on an angle when they let it dry.
