kjeeper10 I dealt with the same code(s) had a bad exhaust gasket, the CEL would come on, I'd clear it be good for a month then come back on different location. Replaced the gasket, good for awhile then same, I replaced all the sensors (4) and been good since

02S12 O2 Sensor Location 2005 Jeep Wrangler

Hello,

Been trying to chase this pesky P0431 Code. Replaced two O2 Sensors already. Diagnostic scan shows sensor 02S12 voltage alot slower than the others. Does anyone know the location of this sensor? Napa, Autozone, my neighbor all say something different!!!

I read it as Sensor 1, Bank 2. Others read it as Sensor 2 Bank 1.

My code says Bank 2, so it has to be in there I suppose.

I've replaced both O2 Sensors in Bank 2 already. Desperately trying to rule out that the Cat may be failing. Next stop is Midas for my 'free' exhaust inspection.
