Yes. Under acceleration

It's only under acceleration that the jeep shimmys. It did this once before and it was the u joint. I plan on working on it soon. I'll let you know how it goes.

BPJOOP93 what kind of shimmy are you talkin about? steering or other?
sounds like u-joint if its under acceleration.

93 YJ shimmy

Hey, My 93' has 5" of lift and 35's and has recently developed a nasty shimmy when under acceleration. It's the worst between 30 and 45mph. When coasting it's fine. I believe it's a U-joint, but I'm looking for thoughts before I tear it down and start "messing" with stuff. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
