my bracket that came with the kit is much like the one pictured, but I cannot get the stock bracket off of the body. This bracket in my kit is made to attach to the body and extend the original mounts for the newly positioned t-case. I got the two bolts around the shaft off, i just can"t go anywhere from there. I will take a picture this weekend if I am still not clear, its tough to explain!

|2003x||My RC kit came with a "drop bracket" for the 4wd lever. In the pic, you can see the hardware in the 2nd row of holes, so I dropped it down to the last set of holes as seen in the 2nd pic.|

Troubles with my 4" RC lift, help!
I have a 2000 sport model with a 5 speed. Just finished installing my 4" RC kit. No problems on the front or rear. Put in the t-case spacers to drop it down until I get the money for a SYE and new driveline, no problems there.
I came to installing the extension bracket for the shift linkage. With the T-case dropped the linkage was at a pretty extreme angle and I could not get it to drop.
Question: Is there a special way to get it to drop from the stock bracket? or do I need to lift the t-case back up to remove tension, remove it and then put the spacers back in before installing the bracket?
It was getting to be a late night so we tightened it back down and called it good for now. It is my daily driver so I am driving it at a minimal and just keeping her in 2 wheel until she is fixed.
