John412 On your JK you can go 33's no lift or issue for the most part. JK's arent TJ's and accommodate bigger tires with no issue and have 32" ish basically stock. Discount tire who "owns" this section of Wrangler Forum has the best prices your gonna find for the most part. I have a customer of my business give me tires at there cost plus 15 each for mount, balance and stems and Discount Tire is right there with the Jobber prices. I wheel with a guy that has 5.5" lift on 37's, its huge and not needed in anyway unless you are gonna competition off road or have alot of money and nothing to do with it. I do know people like that by the way. 2-3" on the JK with 33-35's and you will wheel with any offroad vehicle like a champ.

99Wrangler4x4 Thanks for straighting me out InfernoGirl. WranglerNess07, since you have manual, you'll have to recalibrate your spedometer when you put bigger tires on it. Mine is 8 MPH slow due to my 33's but it's not a big deal or hard to recalibrate it. I can't wait to see what your Jeep looks like after it has the new tires

He has a JK. He can clear 35's with 2.5" lift.

OP, you can put 32's on stock height with stock wheels, 33's with aftermarket wheels at stock height. If you want to go bigger you'll need some lift. 6" is wayyyyyyyyy too much for a JK,

WranglerNess07 Nice those are good thoughts I'll look those up now.

And my jeep is a V6 it has a manual 6 speed transmission. I love having a stick shift it makes having a jeep so much better

I think discount tire will beat other prices

As far as lift goes
30" doesn't need a lift
31"-35" will
Decide and post what's your plans,use and terrain and people can help you better.
If your weekend trail riding,mild rock crawling or 99% onroad all need different set ups to work well for you
I recommend starting small and simple like this:
2" budget boost spacers and bumpstops
4 2" longer old man emu shocks
31" all terrain tires or mild mud tires like Goodyear Duratracs,I just installed 31" Dick Cepek mud country's and I love them,quiet on the road,rides smooth and kick ass in mud but I'm getting off track now
What's your budget?
Most cheap lift over 2.5" require lots of other mods or expensive parts that the lift kit company's don't tell you about.
Just hang out here awhile and research before buying anything it will payoff

A 6" lift can fit 35" tires,miles per gallon will suffer with stock gearing

Tire and Rim Suggestions?

I have a 2010 Red Jeep Wrangler 2 door and have stock tires and rims at the moment. I have been looking for good deals on tires and rims for awhile and I was wondering if I could get some helpful suggestions on what to get.

I want over 30 inch tires that are wider as well and solid steel rims that are not ordinary. Where is the best place to look or what has caught your eye?

AND What will look best with a 2-6" lift?

These are just some of my thoughts thanks for the help
