I went to 3 different shops today. One said to get a new door and they wanted to charge me $1,000 painted and out the door. They had only an estimator at the shop.

The second one pretty much said that he didn't want to spend any time fixing it and to replace it. For him to replace and paint it was $850. He the estimator and the technician. However he was very unprofessional and didn't even own a computer.

At the last shop both the estimator and a technician came out and said that it was definitely salvageable and it would cost me about $360 unpainted and $650 after paint. He estimated about 8 hours of metal work.

I also got an estimate to get a jeep door painted somewhere else for $150 bucks

I am going to try to get it fixed on Monday and hope that their estimate is fairly accurate.

No wrinkled steel. There are some stress cracks however. They are mostly in the welds though.

jeep-dj You could always have a body shop look at it to see if it's salvagable.

Bent TJ drivers door. Fix it or buy new ones?

I was wheeling about week ago and i severely bent one of my doors. (Long story). I went to bend back the hinges today and put the door back on and then i realized the whole window frame for the door had been bent. Is there any saving this door or is it garbage? I don't feel like spending $600 buck on new doors
