InvertChaos In VA you are required to have 2 mirrors that can see 200 ft. I have these mirrors that slide onto the door hinge and have a nut on the bottom to tighten them up. They shake like crazy when you're driving but atleast its legal lol.

jonrjen Now, the mirrors being mounted on the doors is not a problem when you take the doors off. There are many different way to mount side view mirror on the Jeep with out the doors present. Most common is mirror relocation brackets. Easiest is a pair of take off Harley mirrors through the hinge hole, or bicycle mirrors. I have even seen suction cup baby monitor mirrors used adhearded to the inside upper corners of the windshield.
Do a search and be creative.

Mitchness I varies state to state. I'm gonna direct you here to answer this question. Just scroll down to find your state. Cali is most likely gonna need at least a DS and center mirror. Prolly all three actually.

NHrubicon It does vary by state...has been brought up in forums/threads before and somewhere you can google or something to find all the different state laws. Better to be safe than get a ticket-if you are going without doors (NOT recommended on the highway) get the door hingepin mirror and slap it on.

Cons_Table I think this varies from state to state...but I am not positive

its turning into summer and i was wondering if you have to have your left and right view mirrors on while you are driving or do you just have to have a rear view to be legal ?????????
