Wheel2Work Leave 'em rusty... It can camouflage other defects and adds character to chrome wheels! It lets folks know that you're "not afraid of no stinking mudhole"

TJChris27 Agreed clean, polish, and my least preferred method don't play in the mud lol. I don't recommend the third one though.

Jerry Bransford Why not just leave them off? Painting the part of the hub that shows underneath when the center cap is a good way to make it look clean.

Rust prevention on Center Caps for MT Wheels

Is there anything that can be sprayed onto chrome center caps to keep them from rusting. Would spraying clear spray paint on them work? I have a set of Mickey Thompson wheels and I am going to replace the rusty center caps with new ones but I am going to try to prevent it from happening again.
