|jhkhehjh-20jeep03||I honestly can not tell the difference in the on-road ride quality with the coil spacer lift compared riding without the lift. Of course I upgraded the shocks and those Duratracs only have a 2ply sidewall so they probably ride a little better. (We will see if I regret that decision if the sidewalls get sliced open, of course I have torn open 3plys as well so that is what road hazard is for!)|

RCD has been making high quality full size truck lifts for quite a while, they're one of the top of line brands in that circle. They recently entered the Jeep arena.
I'm a fan of their 3" kit because its one of the most complete out there. The 4" kit looks complete as well, but I'm not a fan off their control arms at all. They've got poly bushings on one end...not very good.
For 4" of lift, check out Clayton Off-Road and Currie as well.

|Neil F.||RCD started doing the Jeep route I guess a bit over a year ago. There were initially a lot of posts on forums asking about about RCD. They have been doing suspension components for a while for other makes and apparently have been good quality. But there have not beed a lot of Jeep owners that have bit. Of the few posts I have seen, I believe the ride quality was not that great.|

|jac2003tj||ive always been a littlle affraid of the ride quality with a puck lift. but yours rides nice and all that? at least bearable until one could afford a high quality suspension lift|

I checked out the RCD site but it just says "info coming soon" on the TJ 4 inch lift. I have been doing a lot of research on lifts and after seeing what one of my friends did to his 2010 Rubicon JK, I decided to take the basic route for a while. I just have the 1.75 coil spacers, rancho shocks, and 265/75/16 Duratracs, which netted around 2.25" total lift compared to stock with 30x9.5s. I am satisfied, no vibrations or rubbing and my lowest point is now 10.5" off the ground. I had no noticable loss of power either (and mines a 4 banger!)
My friend with the JK rubicon used a 4.5" rubicon express long arm lift and is running 37s. It rides fine and is a monster off road, but so far he has had to lower his gears to 5.35, have the rear axle rotated (spring mounts relocated) to reduce the driveshaft angle, upgrade the rear driveshaft, and replace the automatic transmission. Needless to say he has put some bucks into it but then again he can go on level 5/6 trails.

RCD lift kit?
im looking at a 4 inch rcd (race car dynamics) and need advice weather this is a good idea or not! it seems to be a less popular brand but after researching it seems high quality. advice please?
