catmar I, too, am going to date myself by saying I haven't heard of most of those groups.
I prefer the 'great ones' -- Sinatra, Bennett, Davis Jr, Martin, Darrin, Vale.....

What about Silver Chair and Seven Mary Three - what ever happened to those bands, they were awesome also.

My 9 year old is listening to Bush, Sponge and Foo Fighters right now - I'm a proud dad.
I like Silver Chair and 7-Mary three too. Alice in Chains, Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, Foo Fighters, Audioslave, Velvet Revolver, Filter, loads of Grunge acts I didn't mention. Bush was ok but didn't get into them like everyone else.

Brings back memories I was a teenager in the 90's so I grew up listening to Grunge. Loads of great bands from that timespan.

I have no idea what happened to them. They just kinda disappeared huh?

shell on my ipod I have A LOT of Van Halen, AC/DC, Rush, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Sammy Hagar (w/VH & w/out), Eagles, Eric Clapton, Poison, Queen, Styx, White Snake, White Lion. Right now my favorite songs seem to be Highway to Hell (my theme song--literally the middle of my name--Hell--Shelly--) Take it Easy, & anything Van Halen.

arrowhead I listen mostly to the wind whistle because my jeep is a ragtop.

When I do listen to music it's classic rock.

In my humble opinion country and rap do not belong in the same sentence with music.

Raidue X2 for Mumford and sons. I pretty much listen to it all except jazz. Can't stand most of that stuff.
