Welcome to the Forum
Great choice. Now Blue has a twin on the forum
There are lots of little mods that you can do and still have a great daily driver.

Community Property Jeep
As you might have guessed, I live in Kansas.
My husband (Jeff-Unlimited) and I just bought a 2006 Wrangler Unlimited. Even though it's "our" Jeep, somehow it has become his daily driver. I guess I get custody on the weekends?
We felt lucky to have found it. After looking at vintage CJ7s and new 4-door Unlimiteds, we decided a 2004-06 Unlimited was what we wanted. It has the classic 2-door Jeep look we like, with the added comfort & space of a longer wheelbase. We came across this one in Kansas City. It is in pristine condition with less than 19K miles. It was just too good to pass up.
It's stock, and according to the build sheet it has 3 option packages. It has a 6-speed. The color is Midnight Blue Pearl w/ gray interior. Since it's his DD, we'll keep the mods to a minimum. (Famous last words, right?)
This is our 2nd Jeep. I had a 1984 Grand Wagoneer for many years which I loved. (I'm still kicking myself for selling it!)
I know I'm going to learn a lot from you-all and I just hope I can eventually contribute something as well.
