MangoWrango I'm looking to spend my Mopar bucks and was looking for some advice on what all to get.

Definitely getting:
Slush mats
grab handles
tire mounted bike carrier

Debating:

Black grille inserts
black fuel cap
mirror relocator (so I'm street legal when I inevitably remove the doors)

any other opinions?

Im a fan of the black on copper-color look which is why I'm looking at the black inserts and fuel cap and my jeep came with the sidesteps so I'd essentially have that "Black appearance group" if I got these -- but I'm not completely set on them if someone points out something cooler that I could get. Eventually I'd like to do get/do something like this because I think it looks awesome so it would really render the grille inserts useless:

I'd like to get the storage roll for the soft top but I can't seem to find it on the mopar site... anyone have a link for it?

Thanks in advance.

SylvanSahara you have/had to have bought your Jeep during the time the sales incentive was going on, kinda like a rebate or cash back, but it was $500 in Mopar bucks. This way they know they are going to get the money back instead of reducing the price and profits.

Now that I have my first Jeep and some Mopar bucks to spend, I am just wondering what others might have picked up prior.

How do you get Mopar bucks?

catmar Thanks, Pat.
I also saw your other thread with teh offical rules, I appreciate it.

I know this has been said before, but I'd just like to echo a sincere
"thank you" for all your input on this forum. The knowledge I've gained from reading here and especially your inside input on things greatly helped me with my purchase (which has now left the on rail so should be ready for pick up by next week I hope!).
Thank you again.

you have 30 days from your date of delivery to use the 500. it can be used for accessories, or toward a prepaid maintenance contract or ext warranty.

ksuflash I ordered my parts from the dealer today.

I got some locking lugs for the wheels, grill inserts, flat black gas cap cover, some slush mats, an extra set of carpet mats, and the flat black handle guards.

The parts should be in within a few days.

I didn't have to ask for the Mopar Bucks, the dealer just gave it to me.

catmar Thanks, Hubertron. I checked the jeep.com main page and there it was. My bookmark was for the build your own page and I didn't see any reference there.

hubertron Look on the jeep.com page. The 500 offer os on the wrangler overview page but not the incentive page. This might change tomorrow though as it is now May.

gbtb87 KSU did you have to ask for the 500 parts bucks?
Or did they just give it to you?

Same here when I bought mine last summer. They knew nothing about it. Had to do a lot of arm twisting.

MCoppage Mopar crap seems too expensive. I'd rather get 500 off the price of the Jeep.
04-27-2011 08:14 PM
rics1997 I think the $500 Mopar bucks incentive started something like April the 6th
04-27-2011 07:57 PM
jailguard I bought mine 2 weeks ago yesterday.500 bucks to buy what I want from mopar...A Jeep incentive...call your dealer..my dealer said they even get 15% off mopar orders so I would get an extra 75 bucks..more then covers my 7% sales tax

ChaseRedJK Thats what I would say man. If I knew I was for sure going to lift my Jeep I might put those bucks toward a front bumper. Maybe some rock rails. So far all I have got from Mopar is slush mats, grab handle (which your Jeep came with), and door seal guards.
04-27-2011 09:17 AM
ksuflash Looks like I will most likely be getting some Slush style floor mats, a Fuel Filler cap accessory, Spare set of carpet floor mats, and maybe some seat covers.
