Peepers Yes there are differences. The 6 cylinder will have 2 more injector wires and the timeings are different so when it should be pulsing the fuel injectors on what ever the firing order for a 4 cylinder is its pulsing them on the 6 cylinder timing so they wont match up.

Engine wiring harness?

Hello new to the forum. I was wondering if there are any differences between the engine wiring harness from a 4cyl to 6cyl? I have an 2001 6cyl that went for a swim back in the fall, now I am having tons of electrical issues. Figured i'll change the harness since my local pick and pull has one in a 98 4cyl for 25 bucks. Any thoughts?
