1992 wrangler frame

Hi I'm trying to start my build this weekend. I have found a good 92 YJ frame that is straight and rust free TX jeep. There is also a 1996 wrangler tub that's in decent shape. Will they fit together?

My project is to build a 2 wheel drive jeep hot rod! It will be low to the ground with front and rear independant suspensions with a stock steel or aftermarket tub, hood, fenders and grill. It will have a mustang gt 4.6 motor and AOD auto trans. The rear suspension will be from a ford tbird and the front from Fat Man fabrication.

Supposed to get the frame Saturday. Once started I will post the build here with pictures of everything. I will be doing all the fab work.

John
