jeeperman You will get more traffic in this thread if you post in either the YJ or CJ section. Sorry, I don't know enough about this swap combination to be any help.

Also, you may want to post when you are breaking the pump(s). Is it on first start-up, or are you putting 10,000 miles on...?

360 in a yj help

I have an 88 yj had a 4.2/tf999, installed 75 amc 360 kept the 999 and conveter, used 360 flexplate everything bolts up great. My problem is that I keep breaking the front pump (2). Its starting to get expensive, Does anyone know why this keeps happening
