m24kelly Im also a new jeep ownerl lol but anyways not too sure about the aftermarket parts, but id say the best way to get the direr out is to drive up onto a ramp so that my jeep is leaning sideways, then pressure wash it. As for the protective coating my cousin likes to use rustolium, but I use a rubber spray. I can't remember exactly what its called, but I can check when I get home. I've never had a problem with rust, and I like the way it looks on my jeep. So it works pretty good for me. Lol

Hello
Just bought 99 wrangler sport 4.0 automatic. Jeep is sound and runs and shifts well. However the aftermarket front and rear bumpers are rusted not through but heavy scaling. Is that common for after market parts? The previous owner lived on dirt road frame and under body are caked with road dirt what is the best way to clean and what type of protective coating is best..

Joe
