My Jeep came with a lot of extras: 1.5" lift, MT/R tires & Moab wheels (not a Rubicon), Wilderness Rack, Recaro seats, cold air intake, sway bar quick-disconnects, LED tail lights, 2 KC Daylighters and 4 Hella 500s As my experience grows, I hope to add some more things… heavier-duty skid plates, a little more lift, black steel wheels with bigger tires, lockers, high-lift jack and a winch. I have seen too may Jeeps with all of this stuff that has never been used. I don't want to be "that guy" with a bunch of just-for-looks extras, so I'm going to make sure to only get things that I'm actually going to use.
I forgot that I had posted this. In April 2013, I went to Moab for the first time. While I had a ton of fun, I decided it was time to make my Jeep bigger.

Now I have a 4.5" RE SuperFlex lift, 35" MTRs, black steeliness, 4.88 gears, more armor, hi-lift, winch, rear Detroit Locker (open front), home-made flat fender flares, Jeeperman stubby front bumper.....

Wish list now includes front locker, 4:1 t-case (or Atlas 4-speed if I trip over a mound of $100 bills), Power Tank and/or compressor, rear bumper with tire carrier, long arm conversion. Some day I'd love a Cummins B4, but that would require a few more mounds of $100s.

AmericaOverland Don't feel bad about taking so long. It took me SIX years of renting and borrowing tents before I finally bought my own, and I WORK FOR REI! I've been there in the last 6 years, and it took me that long to finally be able to spend the money for a tent. A TENT! You did a lot better than I did...

6 year Jeep salesman finally owns a Wrangler

I have been selling Jeeps in the Rocky Mountains for 6 years. I have been wanting a Wrangler for a long time. As of the end of April, I have been the owner of a 2004 "LJ".

I'm here to learn more practical info (not salesman stuff) about Jeeps and talk to "Jeep nuts" (that IS a compliment). I'm not here to advertise my business, but if I happen to find the occasional customer through this forum, then that's even better.

My Jeep came with a lot of extras: 1.5" lift, MT/R tires & Moab wheels (not a Rubicon), Wilderness Rack, Recaro seats, cold air intake, sway bar quick-disconnects, LED tail lights, 2 KC Daylighters and 4 Hella 500s

As my experience grows, I hope to add some more things… heavier-duty skid plates, a little more lift, black steel wheels with bigger tires, lockers, high-lift jack and a winch.

I have seen too may Jeeps with all of this stuff that has never been used. I don't want to be "that guy" with a bunch of just-for-looks extras, so I'm going to make sure to only get things that I'm actually going to use.
