SilverSport Take the cover off the subwoofer and put some poly cotton (like used in stuffed animals) in around the speaker to fill the empty space. Will make the rear speakers sound better and its a cheap fix. Picked this up from soneone on here.

El Gringo If the sub and rear speakers has low power and sound it could be the amp. However; if the head isn't putting out the higher signal replacing the amp would not do much. The head is your best bet. I do not have an amp in mine, but the rear speakers are a joke, so it is likely the head underpowers the rear.

head unit or amp to solve roll bar speaker's weak sound

Hey. I have a 2011 unlimited Rubicon with the Infinity sound system. The roll bar speakers and sub have very low power and sound. Will replacing the amp or the head unit fix the problem? I would like to keep the head unit but....

Thanks
