...and how long they've been off. This hasn't been the best year for weather but, I haven't even seen my doors since June. I think their hidden behind a bunch of boxes in the corner of the garage.

Amen. Pretty crappy summer with all this rain in So Flo. But it's been blazing hot at the same time so I guess top on isn't too bad. Oh well, there's always fall and winter

wolfen You know you drive a jeep when you have the top down, doors off, frames on the back porch, and you run into a thunderstorm, but your not getting wet as long as your moving

Brian6428 You think "Keyless entry" is a fancy way to describe going doorless.

ibrown3005 Re learned this one today. Got out and reached for my front pocket wallet and it was missing. Found it on the floor of the Jeep under the seat. Stupid on my part.

Rude Dog When you hear of a 4 Wheel Parts off road event, want to go and so con the wife into going. All the while knowing she's skittish about it, and as a result you'll need to keep it G Rated or tame. Still, a day driving the jeep is better than sitting on the couch!

Jancie 1. You become a pro at using bungee cords to tarp for rain or just try to keep stuff in the back while driving nakey.

2. You actually learn that you can "smell the rain" before you get hit by a thunderstorm and you laugh as you ditch and dodge the rain as much as possible.

Sorry, had to get that one in.
Diesel is typically more expensive than gasoline in the States (where I live anyway). Is it cheaper than gas in GB or the continent?

Yeah, Jeeps are all over the place here. Saw a red Rubicon in the Amtrak parking lot and idly wondered whether the owner would mind me borrowing it for a few days...

I just took out my front and mid carpets since my soft doors were not seated properly during a thunderstorm and the passenger side got soaked. I left the back in so far since I have the Tuffy security enclosure in the back, but will remove that at some point and use a throwdown of some sort.

I reused the floor mats by taking the clip hooks off the carpet and cutting/grinding off the bottom part and using Scotch/3M permanent outdoor mounting tape to stick them onto the floor to keep the mats from sliding. I will try to remember to post pics.
