I haven't been out much to see how the roads are but thats not surprising. You might check it out, but I would go with a group especially if you don't know the area or its trails. Keystone is also fun for beginners and Disney is awesome if you are up for a weekend or day trip.

Have you checked out 209th yet? Theres some good wheeling there, but its a little messy and rutted out in some places at the moment.

TreyJK I have a fixed Uniden 520 and it's an awesome and cheap unit but I really wished I would've gotten a handheld for the reason you just described. I worry about someone walking up and just taking it
12-02-2013 09:41 PM
IP0VV3R Reason I ask is I run doorless and topless in the summer and I'm worried about security
12-02-2013 09:39 PM
IP0VV3R Speaking of CBs, what do y'all recommend? Handheld or fixed-mount radios?
12-02-2013 09:35 PM
Jmad97wrangler Awesome! Thanks for all the replies, I'll be getting a CB radio soon, I'm sure it'll come in handy and help us look after eachother.
12-02-2013 09:02 PM
TreyJK And 9 is usually for emergencies, but I doubt many people listen to it anymore

Our club uses channel 25 I'm not sure how common it is. 19 is the standard though.
