XJ Knight Try to run 1tons if you can all around. Especially if your playing in the rocks at all. The D44 front with upgraded shafts should work though for general trail use I think. As to the rear axle the D44 with upgraded shafts I dont believe with be enough. Although it might survive maybe, IMO minimum Ford 8.8 for the rear. But like I said before get your hands on some 1 ton axles and you will be better off in the long run and seriously decrease your chance of blowing up on the trail.

XJ Knight Depends on whether you have a auto or manual trans and what axles you have. Im hoping that your running upgraded axles if your runing that size tire, cause if you havent gone D44 or bigger front and F8.8 or bigger rear you are asking for problems.

InvertChaos I am not 100% positive, but I would say as high as you can go. Like 5.13s or 5.38s. Are your axles up to handle 37s?

Also what transmission do you have?

I have a 2002 tj with a 6in lift and 37s what gear ratio will I need to put in?
