mrlife I have the same model as the OP, and the UConnect has been great. When you're prompted for a voice command, just say 'help' if you haven't tried that yet. She'll give you a tutorial of what you can say/do.

On a side, just as a status, I just got a 2012 JK Sahara and have an iPhone 4. I have been able to use the bluetooth to make phone calls and stream music. Bluetooth music streaming has been pretty good. I haven't noticed any of the problems that many have posted with 'chipmunking', etc. The bluetooth connectivity overrides the USB auxiliary connection for music but the USB port does charge my phone. Voice SMS isn't supported by iPhone.

Found this Chrysler pdf for 2011's

https://www.jeep.com/download/pdf/ma...Manual-1st.pdf

Seems to be the same for 2012. There's a lot of commands towards the back of the pdf.

For shuffle, I just say "shuffle on, or shuffle off".

Voice command will understand multiple orders all at once, for instance..."Play, Playlist, Rock, Shuffle On" and my Ipod responds to the one time command.
