nicolas-eric if the bracket comes off with the screws loctide will not help.
i think that the threads became too wide. then you need to make them smaller (i don´t know how that sould work i such a thin material) or you need to use wider screws that fit into the wider threads.

sorry for my bad english...

Binski I don't think bigger screws or bolts are a good solution since the hardware I have right now is the stock OEM screws. I am wondering if the gunk that is around some of the threads is maybe loctite and if all I need to do is cover the screws in loctite and screw them in. Let me know...thanks!

nicolas-eric i would use one size bigger screws. that should be enough to fix that problems. perhaps you´ll have to drill a bit bigger holes in the bracket for the bigger screws.
or drill some holes and use some bolts with nuts.

Right retainer bracket

Hey whats up guys. So my right retainer bracket has come off and the screws won't stay in to keep it in place. Do I need to use loctite or a similar compound on the screws so that they stay in their holes. This is really bothering me because everytime I take the bar out of the brackets the bracket bends. Here is a picture so that you guys know what I am talking about. please help!!!!
