Mitchness Ah, an original westerner. Yeah, alot of it is much like CO would be (I imagine)- lots of hill climbs, trees, rocks, snow, mud, etc. You'll be right at home (at least for the wheeling part).

rocket4x4 haven't really done any real wheeling down here. but I'm originally from colorado, so hopefully its something like that. i miss the mountains so much, and can't wait to actually be able to do some flexing in the jeep. cus down here there really aint much to do but swamp yourself in mud.

Mitchness Walker Valley is probably the closest at around an hour drive. The others will be closer to 2-3, maybe longer since you'll be on the island. Tahuya could be pretty close to you depending on the ferry.

...Mississippi. Heh heh, yeah, they'll be a bit different than what you're used to.

rocket4x4 gulfport, mississippi. how close are all of those places?

Mitchness Reiter Pit and Walker Valley will be your closest trails. There's also Tahuya and Evans Creek nearby as well. There's actually quite a bit of wheeling near where you'll be. You may have to drive a bit for it, but it's there. Where are you coming from?
