33x12.5x15 BFG KM2's
Not cheaper at all. I originally went with a Rough Country 4" suspension lift and a t-case drop. Rode very poorly on road even worse off road. I decided to go with DPG Offroad Super Ultimate TJ Hybrid kit. This is a LCOG system that turns your Wrangler into a dream. The OME shocks and springs give you better than factory on road handling and ride. All eight JKS control arms with the long travel shocks allow for serious flex. I also went with a UCF tummy tuck and now have 17.5" of ground clearance.
35's on a TJ gets very expensive.

|jsbrandon||See that's what I'm talking about! I need to hear these things! Thanks for the info Nick. I assume that was cheaper than doing the 4" suspention lift? And much less pain in the rear too? I have a Dana 44 with 3.73 ratio and would like to have 35's. But I'll settle for 33's lol. What size tires did you go with?|

Tire size really determines what lift you should go with. With tire size always come the regear and what axel questions.
Another good question is what if any offroading do you plan?
I will NEVER again install a 4" suspenion lift. I have more ground clearance and flex with my 2.5" SL and 1.25" BL than all 4" suspension lift with a t-case drop.
Build it once, twice sucks I'll never do it again.

|jsbrandon||Thanks Jcole231! By the way...what's MML?|

|Jcole231||I'm still learning as well but I just installed a 3" teraflex sus lilt on my 2000 Tj sahara and love it, I also have a 1" body lift on order. I didn't need a SYE or any other corrective parts for mine but with the BL I was told it's a good idea for the MML so I also ordered that. I'm very happy with the ride the teraflex gives|

TJ Lift advice
Hello all. Before I post my questions I must state that I am a newbie so bear with my lack of knowledge on this subject!
I am a relatively new owner (1 year) of a 2002 Wrangler Sahara Edition. It is my daily driver but I also want to have some fun with the bad boy as well as improve the look and give it a more "tougher" stance. With that being said, I am wanting to install a 4" suspension lift kit. Maybe even higher. I have discussed this with many, many people and I seem to get some contradictory advice.
So...if I go 4+ inches, I will, of course, need to install a SYE as well as a CV driveshaft, correct? And I'm sure there are many other little tweaks and add on's that go with that. Steering stabilizer, extending brake lines, gas lines, etc.
Would going 3" suspension and 1" body lift steer me around all that extra cost of having to install the SYE, driveshaft, lines?
Some have told me that they would shy away from body lifts...something about ruining the body or something like that??
And what brand of lift? I know that's a very general question but what would you all recommend? BDS, Rancho, Skyjacker, Rough Country...and on, and on, and on!
And honestly, four inches doesn't seem like much (insert joke here).
Anyways...I have a million questions and I need a little guidance.
Thanks to you all in advance. Hope I didn't ramble on!
