Peepers 4 130w KCs, 2 55w flood lights, another pair of 130w lights that you can just see on the bumper, and high beams and fog lights. As long as the jeep is running and above idle (driving) it was fine. at idle it would drop the voltmeter to 12v, so it was right at the limit of maximum lighting.

Xpress I haven't really ever seen a light bar on a Jeep, besides an overhead rack with lights. Mount up what you got. If you do what you're trying to do, then you will get a lot of glare off of the hood, which will make it difficult to see.

Just a pair of those spotlights are more than good enough for offroading at night. I have a pair mounted on my front bumper.

Also, those lights are only going to draw about 8.8-9 amps a piece with the system at full voltage. So you're looking at about 18 amps max for both. At a certain point you will need dual batteries and a higher output alternator. don't know at which point though.

Davers87 I want some lights on a 3inch tubular bar on the front maybe 2 or 4, then a light bar with 5 lights and maybe a hood mounted bar with 4 or 5 lights on that : ) .

At what point do I need to add a battery, and would I need to upgrade my alternater at all or would this work fine with one batter and stock alternator.

Thanks
Dave

Looking for a light bar to mount under the windsheild light mounts cant seem to find any pictures of lightbars anywhere.

Just wondering what light bars other people have, pics if you got em, and any advice on a good lighting setups?
