Hi guys!

so here's my story.

I bought a buell lightning motorcycle for the last year and put nearly 9k on it this season, i loved it, but could only afford one car payment so my wife and i had one car (Ford Escape) for us and our two kids Vance who's 3 and Sabienne who's 16 months. anyway i posted my bike on CL looking for a trade on a small 4 cyl car....i was contacted by a guy who wanted to trade his 98 wrangler and 03 yz85 for my bike and i initally i thought this must be a scam or somethings not "legal" about this. I mean my bike booked at around 2k and the jeep is around 4k plus the bike and its worth 5-7 hundred... so i feel i got an awesome deal!

Its a 2.5 with a 5-spd, 127k, is green body with currently grey top. transfer case works great, Frame is in pretty good shape with only surface rust but 4-lo is kind of "clunky" maybe u-joints are bad....? havn't had a chance to check yet.

The Jeep does need a little work...

Need a new soft top which i have been trying to research them for the best bank for the buck ( i like the "fastback" style ones) and would like black.

Front sway bar end links are both broken

front hard brake likes look rough (rusty) but line to rear of jeep has already been replaced.

fuel gauge off or bad, driving it home thought there was 1/4 tank but then it died 2 miles from my house. pulled the dirt bike off the back and rode that home and got a gas can...

My Dad, Uncle, Good Friend all have jeeps and i am happy to have joined the obssession.

My Name's Nick and I am a Draft/CAD Designer for Sauber MFG. in Virgil, IL and Live in Rochelle, IL.
