I used to cover the thing in mud every trip out, and it got to be a pain in the rear taking the 44 front apart, and making sure all the bearings were clean.
So now.. I just beat the heck out of it on the rocks. I will venture into the mud if I have to, but I prefer to stay clear of it...
yah i know what you mean.. as soon as i can afford getting a dana 44 rear and putting a super 30 kit in the front.. then lock both.. ill never touch the mud again.. the rocks were sooo fun.. at first i was worried because friday night after putting the new trackbar on the front.. i tested my jeeps flex.. and dug into my rear fenders in my friends driveway.. so i tried to stay off some things that looked like id rip into my fenders.. then chad (the guy with the la lift) told me that if i did.. he has an extra set of fenders that i could have and his friend owned a body shop that he could get them painted to match for me for free.. so after that i went all out in my jeep =D so then i tried to flex em out.. and my tires BARELY touched my flares.. but i didnt disco my front the whole time we were there.. my shocks arent long enough and i still havent gotten my new set in

MoA well when we were eating.. a guy we met from the gas station came over to see if he could eat with us.. then he liked our clubs t-shirt.. so he bought one.. then i talked him into taking me out in his rig.. which he did.. and when we were driving around.. he told me to talk to the rat patrol about letting him join.. which of course we are getting a michigan rat patrol sticker made for him =D but man riding in his rig was a dream..

my jeep and my girls jeep got pretty dirty.. i drove through a creek to clear mine off a little before we left.. and here is a shot of us at my girls house
mine

hers

and somehow.. the only damage done to my jeep was on the top part of my rear bumper right below my spare.. no one knew how the in the H*ll i did it =/ but i did

saturdays trip to the badlands

well.. we started off with 7 of us.. (the guy without the rat patrol sticker is the guy with the LA lift.. his dad is a member too but lives in tennessee)

we each posed for a shot before we got dirty

i got stuck in a mud pit.. my gfs dad got stuck before me, and a rubicon with a 4'' rc la lift got stuck too.. then my gf made it through in her jeep.. showed us guys up =/ it was pretty sad..

got a few poser flex shot =D

my gfs dad got stuck yet again (hes only running a 3'' bl with 33 ats..) this was after pulling him out

got another poser rock climb shot

this guy and his ruby.. hes scared to get it dirty.. but could care less if he rolls it on rocks.. he was out playing in the rock garden when we were out in the mud pit.. and i mean.. he could really care less about trashing his jeep on the rocks.. his quote "thats what i got it for" lol.. i love wheeling with this guy

another member came around lunch time so we took a group shot before we went to cook lunch
