It's not that it drop's lower - but, the bottom edge of the bumper wraps back under the frame where the hitch mounts. No problems with the spare tire mount.

DamMan I originally had rubbing but just before I installed the ARB bumper and winch I changed my front springs to the heaviest front factory spring and no more rubbing. Jeep came with '14' springs and I went to '19' as the last numerals in the part number.

BRADWRANGLER2011 DamMan do you have any kind of lift kit or leveling kit on your jeep.Do you have any rubbing with the 285-75-17 tires.THANKS

I put my bumpers on today - Pavement Ends, front and rear. I like 'em!
