thanks a ton.
My brother and I have done the same thing over at the badlands in indana ( maybe thats why they call it that?). but long story short we got mucky sandy water in the tranny, and we did try to do backyard style. but when we founds sand in the value body and after many filter changes and flushes.
I think that im just going to pull the transmission out and let the pros rebuild it.
thanks for all the advice that you guys said will try to keep it all in mind and try hard not to break to much stuff.

It's certainly not overfilled providing your torque converter was empty to start with. Nothing that was done to your transmission could actually cause water to form. I'm thinking maybe you have a radiator problem letting coolant into your ATF.

I know.. I had to buy it from the dealer.
It was about 8 liters to fill it up, and it was about 45 dollars per liter (recalculated from swedish crowns)
Im pretty sure i Did not overfill. I toped it off when it was in neutral and running.
Could a overfill lead to water ?

Hate this tranny.. 32RH
I hate this tranny..
Got my transmission back from the shop in late november after a 2 week rebuild. They did not find any conclusive evidence of water but it was rebuilt with a new converter.
They installed a breatherhose via a brassfitting from the existing breatherhole and through the bellhousing.
I installed it and topped up with 350 dollars worth of ATF
Followed the shops directions and did not put it in reverse before I had drove it for a few kilometers. (could damage the pump, for some reason?)
Worked perfect beside a little grinding noise in reverse when I start it up from cold. Did not think of it to much so I have driven it since then.
Today I thought of checking all the fluids again, and I saw that the trannyfluid looked like pink milkshake..
Just closed the hood and went inside to cry...(lost 1600 in oil and rebuild)
So my guess is that the radiator is leaking coolant?how would I know?
OR the homemade breatherhose that is extended inside the engine compartment is condensing the air to water when its cold outside?
Is there any other way water can enter the tranny? could it be the shop making a mistake when they rebuilt it?

Haha yes I do understand you, but have to agree that some replys would not make my englishteacher happy..
But with your advice I finaly got it out today!
Did not have any E-torx, someone has probably change these before to standard bolts?
The only thing I wrecked was the fillertube, Did try to twist and pull but it did not come loose? So I decided to keep it in.
Once on the ground I tried again but it snapped right at the tranny.
If I had seen it at first, I would have removed the O-ring before pulling on it. Will be interesting to find out how much that tube cost..
Hope someone els reads this before they do the same...
And no water in transmisson.. Must be something els??

Put another way, use the wrench to tighten the bolt and spin the convertor all the way across the opening until you can see the other bolt. Hold the second bolt, loosen the first and remove it. Put the wrench on the bolt you were holding and tighten it to move the convertor. It's a small puzzle in logic, but once you do the first one, it's obvious.

I have not removed any Torx screws. Are these on top of the tranny? Are the screwheads on the engine or tranny side?
I have removed 4 bigger bolts, think it was 14 mm (or close enough)
The bolts from flexplate to converter, are these the ones i see through the hole in the flexplate?
Thank you for every tip! I have tought about the tranny and T-case falling on me so I have rigged ropes between the framerails so atleast it wont squish me
I will give it a final go tomorrow when the sun comes up..
In Sweden, English is the second language so everyone learns it from around 8-9 years old. But its not my native tongue, so I´m happy you understand me!

I support the engine on the back of oil pan after lowering the back of the trans to access the top two bellhousing bolts and then put a jack under the trans and alternate up and down slightly while watching the gap in the bellhousing to the engine to try and keep it straight so it will pull straight back.
Very few fasteners ever bother me but those two are a pain in the butt.

Also, the transmission filler tube just pulls out of the transmission.
You got the top-two E-Torx (reversed torx head) bolts out right? I Think their size is E-12 or E-14, it's been too long since I removed a 32RH for me to remember exactly.

|TJWenatchee||I think a lot of us feel your pain. My manual transmission case cracked. Worked fine but leaked like crazy. Just bought a new one instead (No viable core for old one since it was cracked). It was done in 90+ degree weather. I imagine it's getting rather cold over there by now. And your English by the way is great.|

|QADaemon||The bolts from the flex plate to the torque converter are what's holding you back, I believe (unless I mis-read and you got those). I would put the bellhousing bolts back in first; don't want that transmission falling on you.|

How to get a 32RH tranny out? tips & tricks?
I got water in my transmission due to a to deep puddle, headlight high
So now I have to pay the price..
I do not have a garage so im working outside in the cold with little light (Sweden) so exuse my "Swenglish"
I´m getting the tranny rebulit, but before that I have to get it out?
This is what I have done:
- Disconnected all hoses, linkage and cables on the Tranny and T-case.
- drained the tranny.
- Droped the skid.
- Removed the filler tube bolt on tranny, but can´t get it out of the tranny?
(do I just pull it out or is there any trick to it?)
- Disconnected the driveshafts
-Removed the inspectionplate
-Unbolted all bolts I think? its 4 on the bellhousing (upper half)
I have tried to pry the thing apart but it wont move?
I can see the "drive-plate" through the inspection hole, do I need to remove some bolts in there aswell? There is a hole inte plate where i can see a bolt?
Any help would be appriciated! I have my brother helping out this weekend but I don´t want to cause more damage than I do good.
