jameslee97206 Wrecking yard d44 from a tj will be hard to find and will be a pretty penny when you do. I would look for a 8.8 with disc brakes. They can be found with a lsd as well.

Zjones1994 Ya i thought so, ive heard of people cutting the spring perches and brackets off of their 35's. Ive been trying to find a junkyard jeep for a year now (since i got it) and no such luck

JeepCreeper Unless you pull it from another jeep, you'll need to replace the brackets.

I have a 35c (yikes) under my rig, i dont want to get a super 35 for price, so i was wondering what vehicles i could get a d44 from. I thought about going 8.8 but i found out their c clip as well and usually more expensive. I dont have much of a preference of drum vs disk but if it came down too it id def choose disk. So what vehicles could a pull a dana 44 (3.73) from?
