Detroit Locker Question...

Hey guys, just installed a Currie Hi9 today with a Detroit NoSPIN locker and I wanted to know if when shifting into a gear, as soon as it re-engages it sounds like the driveshaft hits then this normal? I'm pretty sure it is because it is not affecting the RPM's or anything...I'm just trying to figure out what are the new normal noises on the axle!! Thanks...if you could reply quickly it would be good because I need to put 500 miles on it starting tomorrow so I can wheel in Tellico on the 28th. THANKS!
