JeepCrawler98 Ford taurus fan from one with the 3.8L V6 - these things are VERY powerfull, and blow 4200CFM. They sound like an idling jet engine when running. They've been used to effectively cool big block v8's. The problem is startup draw - almost 100amps; hwoever this last less than a second; just means your regular 30amp autozone relay wont do since the unit draws 33 while running on high (it's a 2 speed fan). Make sure you use like a 50Amp relay and some good heavy gauge wire and you'll be good. They almost bolt up too - just need to drill one hole in the shroud that houses them, and make something on the passenger side to hold it to a bolt hole. It's like they were almost made for wranglers.

Oh and don't go with junkyard units - only order new ones; I've ran 3 in the past and while I love them, they burnt out because they were high mileage units (I plan on ordering one 'new' though)

I'm looking to install an electric fan on a 97 wrangler with a 4 cyl. no A/C. My problem is that I have not won the lottery and can't really afford a new one is there any electric fan I can use off of another vehicle or maybe off of ebay.
