Direct Injection Engines may also get particulate filters.

DPFs (Diesel Particulate Filters) aren't something new to those of us who own late model diesel engines, but Particulate Filters on gasoline engines may come to the rest of you in the future if you have a DI fuel system such as a 3.6L Pentastar when it goes DI later on.
