BockieJeep Perfect! Thank you so much. Went right to it Shall install the remote start tomorrow. Now it's just finding that neutral safety which i am also pretty confident I know where to find (In one of those 3 harnesses that plugs in behind the battery, I am pretty sure I have already seen it)
For your remote start did you splice into the ignition wires under the kick panel? or right by the ignition? I guess it doesn't really matter, just more of an opinion and ease of access thing..

Hardermods For the tach wire I used the Gray wire coming from the 4 pin connecter at the back of the coil rail.
Follow the coil rail to the back by the firewall and it connects there make sure you test the wire first.

The harness loops down a little bit then into the main harness so I tapped of the side of the wire after I pulled it out from the loom a little bit.

I dont have any pics of the neutral safety wire because my remote start didnt use it but for it you would need to goto the PCM connecters over behind the battery.

It should be a brown/light blue wire coming out of the Black 32 pin connecter on the PCM. It is a negative lead so make sure and test it first.

Remote start tach wire 2002 Wrangler

I have read so many different forums, but So far all I have come up with is "Look at the coil and you will find it"
I have looked everywhere under the hood of my 2002 tj and still cannot find the tach nor the neutral safety wire! It is driving me crazy. I have tested all of the ignition wires with a multimeter and determined all of them I need. Just the neutral safety and the tach wire. Any help PLEASE?! It is an automatic and I hear this is a common problem. Any experience appreciated and even pictures if you have any
