dmlong77 Thanks Guys. Got the battery on the charger now, seems to be taking a charge. After i get it thrown back in i should be able to take a look at the Alternator. Never had these kind of problems before.

After reading other posts thought i might be in for a fight, checking grounds and switches. Hope your you all are right much rather replace a battery or a alternator.

Electrical Problems!!

Hey All,

Got a 2007 Jeep Wrangle Rubicon. It's been having some some interesting electrical problems lately. My dash lights flicker, and turn signals and head lights get stuck on even if turned off and key out, but still turned over. This happened once and seemed to fix it self after i got it to a friends garage. I thought it might have been a moisture problem, due to there was condensation on the inside of the windows.

This started again yesterday. This is where it get odd. My doughter spilled some drink on the floor in the front. Some of it went under the floor mat but was minimal. When we got home took out the floor mat sprayed the carpet and scrubbed up the carpet. Carpet was damp but not soaked.

Got back in, to move the jeep, wouldn't start! Dash lights flickered and both turn signals stuck on. Followed by some clicking under the hood up by the battery. Had to disconnect the battery because the lights were stuck on. Ripped up the carpet, nothing ther that would cause a short. Put the battery back in same problems and constant clicking from under fuse box infront of battery.

Now stuck with a dead battery. Have it on a charger but, i really don't think that or the alternater are the problem. Buddy thinks it might be a fried switch. Heard Jeeps are know for electrical problems but have no clue were to start. Any ideas while the battery charges?

Thanks for any help.
