Welcome to the forum!

Welcome to the forum. This is certainly the best Jeep site in the world and you found it! It's the perfect home for all of us Jeep "junkies." It's the place we get our "fix." By the way, my first TJ was a 2.5L and I loved it. To increase your mpg I recommend consideration of an aftermarket tube and filter asembly to replace the air filter "box" you currently have. Rock-It Air by Turbo City is one of the less expensive models (I have it on one of mine) and it made a noticeable difference in my mpg (from 20 to 23 mpg). I purchased a different arrangement through Rusty's Offroad in Alabama for my 4.0L and I have experienced the same increases (from 18 to 22 mpg). Just a thought. My son was stationed in Germany in June and said the gas was about $7US per gallon (3.78 liters as you well know). I can imagine the need for getting all you can out of it. Hope this helps and, again, welcome!

1BLKJP Welcome aboard. I don't blame you wanting the good mileage. Your gas is like double what ours is over here and it's murder over here.
