NoWayOut_TJ Well a lot of the aftermarket skid plates and bumpers are 3/16'' and that seems ok. If you plan on using it to bash into stuff or plow over small forests, i would recommend that or thicker.... like 1/4''.

what metal thickness

well like the title says, if a feller were to want to build his own stubby type front bumper, what thickness of metal would he want to use?
