Lots of miles....colors unlikely...but if it's a 65th Anniversary,Willy Edition,Tomb Raider etc. They will *try* to charge you more for a *special edition* wrangler.Which is usually a tricked out interior, bigger wheels and some stickers.

|stevestloo||I was going to try to wiggle them down to 10 or 11, its at a Subaru dealer so I might have luck with that. It will be my DD also.. always wanted a wrangler.. never had a short enough commute for one until recently.|

Original Poster- Very fair price if Jeep is in 100% working order and clean title, carfax, and well taken care of.
@ stevestloo I would not pay $13,000 for an 06 with a Dana 35. After tax and licensing the dealership would have you screwed. Might as well get a loan and buy an 06 LJ Rubicon with dana 44's and lockers for 4-6k more with less or same miles.

|stevestloo||Im looking at a 2006 Wrangler Sport with 83,000 miles, 5 speed, 4.0L, advertised at $13,000.. it is flame red, I feel like dealers charge you more for certain colors.. is this correct? I see the "less popular" colors (tan on tan, for example) advertised for less money and less miles.. wondering if i should pay to get what i want (red) or get something that is less used..|

looking at my first jeep purchase help please
Hi, I signed up here to learn all I could because the wife and I want a jeep and have never had or even driven one but they look like so much fun. A couple of coworkers steered me away from the older leaf springs and said don't get a four cyl. I found a 1997 soft top with 67000 miles. It's not lifted or has big tires. Would that be a bad price at 7500.00 Its a manual too. It won't be a daily driver, just something for winter ( in case we get snow again. we're in the deep south ) We also just want to ride the trails, nothing radical. Any advice would be helpful as to what to look for too. Thanks for having me and I look forward to making new Jeep friends.
