Not to my knowledge. So by gear not working I assume you mean its grinding? And if so what gear(s) is(are) it. Could be a bad synchro.

Clutch making noise

I have a 2002 Wrangler and when I have the clutch in to shift gear it does not make any noise but when I take the clutch out it makes a loud noise from the bearings and sometime it will not take not gears. What can that be? Could it be the transmission or the transfer case?
