Power Windows and Locks - Summer Storage for Half Doors - Any Problem?

Ordering a Jeep Wrangler Sport S two door this spring. Pretty basic. 6-speed with dual top option. I also want to get half doors, either at the same time through Chrysler so I can finance - or after market.

The main reason I don't want to buy stock from a dealer is most JKs equipped close to how I want one come with POWER WINDOWS and LOCKS.

I want to take the top off about April 1 and put it back on about Nov 1. So about five months of the year, these doors would be in the garage. I'm concerned that the power functions of these might get funky from storage, or the receptacles where the power plugs in when you reinstall them ... will get gunked up during the summer or during some muddy off-roading.

The power windows and locks would be nice to have five months of the year ... but good old roll up windows and manual locks seem like a safer bet.

Whaddya think?
