crafty I use reserveamerica for camping reservations. Look near Cape Hatteras or Ocracoke area in N.C.

With you being in SE Penn. I would check out Assateague Maryland near Ocean City. That was always my place to go when I lived in Md. Search Assateague Maryland, had a good sized beach/ORV area.

Just be sure

As mentioned, just be sure to give your rig a good cleaning after beach riding. If you don't the sand will slowly start to grind away at your brake pads. The sand causes it to become almost like a sand paper.

Ape-X Used a sprinkler this last May after some muddin'. Worked great, though there were still some spots that needed more washing down.

JCS05Rubi MasterFlow MF1050 air compressor, or the M50 are your best bets besides an on board air setup or C02. I run a masterflow MF1050 and it has yet to fail me, and is quick for a battery compressor. Fits in the "trunk" well, and didn't break the bank.

crafty I love beach driving. Go to OBX in N.C. every other year for vacation. Pick up one of those little portable air compressors (pep boys/auto zone/advanced) that hook to your battery and only take up about 1' of space in the back of your Jeep when not in use. I have had great luck with BFG MT's in all types of terrain and they wear very little for use on a daily driver. Try taking them down to 10 PSI you want a good balloon effect out of the tire if you are on soft sand. Have fun with your new ride

HAVE STOCK P255/75R17 TIRES AND WANT TO KNOW WHAT PRESSURE TO RUN ON THE BEACH AND IF I NEED TO DEFLATE, WHAT KIND OF PORTABLE COMPRESSOR IS RECOMMENDED TO INFLATE??? ALSO, WAS TOLD THAT JEEPERS ON THE BEACH WASH THE UNDERSIDE WITH A GARDEN SPRINKLER PLACED UNDER THE VEHICLE... GOOD RECOMMENDATION OR NOT??? PLAN TO MOD AS NEEDED...

Scotty355 No help here on driving on the beach but I am glad to hear you finally have a date for your new ride.. congrats

Walkeraviator Driving on the beach in Daytona I can tell you that deflating is not required. Fully inflated tires will provode more than enough traction. As for teh sprinkler, its nt a bad idea... just doesnt have enough pressure to get some of the tight spaces cleaned out well. I used a pressure washer under mine once a week or if i ended up in teh water at all, i sprayed it immediately.
