machine mine was because i had a rock the size of a softball jammed under the xfer case. i really need to get a lift.

DesertX Mine did that even after SYE. I had read that it is an issue of the stock t-case skid, but it still did it after my TT.

distortedtj first do you have a transfer case drop already?
and do you have a SYE ''slip yoke elimator"?

X2 sounds like that is your problem, not a hard fix either.

dmain98 Thanks for the feedback...
I was thinking it could be in the Torque converter, since it only does it in overdrive. I was thinking about putting it up on blocks, straping it down, and running it.

slomover yes i have lifted several rigs & vibrations are in herent ,one thing that can help is to repitch your pinion angel , but be carful this can cause you 2 have bering issues later on

I need some Jeep guys help.

I need some Jeep guys help.
I just purchased a 04 Jeep Wrangler. It is setup with the following, a 4-inch lift, 32x11.5x15 LT tires, 4.0l inline 6 and the automatic transmission.
My concern is I have noticed a vibration / hum sound when the transmission shifts into overdrive, usually around 55 MPH. I took it back to Hunter Dodge and they say it is caused by the lift and the big tires. Has anybody experienced this problem?
