Shelby427 Hopefully it's just low on fluid still. You have to check it in neutral and running to get an accurate reading. So let it warm up, apply the park brake and shift into neutral and check it.

transmission help PLEASE!!!!

As I was driving home from work today on the highway. I noticed that my RPM's were way off. I pressed my gas and went nowhere. I was right next to an exit so i coasted off. Shut off my TJ and got under it. One of my transmission hoses blew off my radiator. I walked to the store and got some transmission fluid. filled it up. Put the hose back on with a new clamp and went on my way. As I was driving home again It would slip every now and again. Not all the time and mostly when it was first gear. I am just wondering If it is just because the fluid hasn't fully recirculated Or If I should expect to be putting in a new transmission soon. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thank you!!
