Any public trails near College Station?

I've been reunited with my Jeep today, wife drove it down from KS (she's better off with the Jeep with the weather up there) and I'm working in Houston at the moment and we're meeting up with her family for the holidays.

I found Mission Statement, but they appear to require club membership, also checked a handful of places here Places to wheel - Texas4x4.org, but none are close by. Might try General Sam's Offroad Park - Huntsville Texas - ATV Riding Trails & Camping, but it's a bit more of a drive than I was hoping for and I'm not looking for extreme wheeling until I get a lift, just some light trails.

Thanks & Merry Christmas all!

Benjy
