4x4Viking Thank you all for your input, taking a look at two tomorrow at two different dealerships. Any good source for accessoires?

tradde Well my previous vehicle was a Dodge Dakota with a V8 and 3.92s. I like my torque.

My 3.21s seem plenty peppy to me. But again, I haven't driven a 3.73 for comparison. And I was driving a 2003 4 cyl Saturn Ion before my Jeep, so even my 3.21s feel fast to me!

Phishe The seats aren't leather. The center part is cloth and the outer part is a synthetic vinyl type material. I like it. It seems very durable.

As far as the gearing/towing, I've got the 3.21 and the tow package. Had I special ordered, I'd have gone with 3.73 and max tow, but I bought out of the showroom. That said, and though I've got no comparison, I don't find the 3.21 to be deficient at all. Of course I haven't towed anything yet, so I can't give you any insight there.

I live the Arctic. The ONLY negative I've seen so far is that the white trim on the steering wheel gets dirty easily, but that's nothing a little cleaner can't fix.

Do it. It's a great ride!

Captchris Get the Max Tow Package if for no other reason than you couldn't get an aftermarket hitch, and a set of 3.73 gears installed for the price of the package from the factory. It makes simple economic sense. Unless you are really in love with the Winter Chill color and the black rims, you might want to consider moving up to a Rubicon. The price was about the same, and in my opinion, the Rubicon offered a lot more capability for not that much more money.

Arctic 4x4 4d -2012

Looking to buy an Arctic and trade in my 2008 2WD 4d Unlimited Sahara. I've seen some different towing packages and axle ratios, should I go for max towing and gear ratio or just go standard version? The other thing that confuse me is the leather seat option, it appears to be partial leather only. Any pros and cons in general regarding this model would be greatly appreciated.
